EuroSkills

EuroSkills is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in Europe. 

Held every two years and organised by WorldSkills Europe together with the host nation organiser, 34 Member Countries, and Sponsors and Partners, EuroSkills brings together hundreds of young people from across the continent to compete for the chance to become the Best in Europe in their chosen skill or profession.

Sophie Dubuis

President

Sophie is an expert in management and strategy. With a background in tourism and management, she has held leadership roles and currently serves as Vice-President of the Swiss Employers’ Association,

Chair of the Board of Directors of Migros Geneva, and board member of Switzerland Tourism and The Swiss bank of Geneva.

Carola Oeuvray

Vice-president

Carola began her career in the hospitality industry before joining Bucherer and later Palexpo SA, where she is currently the Human Resources Director. Passionate about her profession and deeply committed to human development, she also shares her expertise as a trainer at Ifage. As Vice President of HR Geneva, she puts her experience at the service of the HR community and actively contributes to advancing managerial practices and the profession as a whole.

Anne-Sophie Dunand-Blaesi

Anne-Sophie is an experienced business leader. She is CEO and partner of Aprotec SA, a family-owned company specializing in emergency and safety lighting, and contributes to French-speaking Switzerland’s economic ecosystem through her roles as Chair of the Grand Prix of the Economy in Geneva, delegate for La Mobilière, and board member at Qualiborker.

Mergim is an expert in skills development and international cooperation. With professional experience at the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training (SFUVET), he also serves as President of the Swiss Forum for Skills Development and International Cooperation (FoBBIZ).

Liliane Zossou

Member

Liliane is a specialist in vocational and continuing education. As Director General of the Office for Vocational and Continuing Education (OFPC) within the Department of Public Instruction, she supports skills development and the recognition of professional pathways in Switzerland.
